In 1964, Mr. Sheung Lun Lee along with 2 partners purchased the Stork Dry Cleaning business at its current location at 3860 Bathurst St.

Throughout the years of operation, one partner passed away, and the other retired. Mr. Lee continued to operate the business with his wife Joyce, and help from his 3 boys to build the successful family business up to his retirement.

The family business today is currently operated by his oldest son Fred. The values of hard work to provide the best quality and service is our family trademark.

Stork is Perc (chemical) free and environmentally friendly, as Fred is a certified environmental Dry Cleaner.

Recently, Federal laws have made it clear, that dry cleaners who seek to be environmentally friendly are required to be certified and approved by a certified eco-friendly government agent, in which, Owner Fred, is certified and approved - this must be renewed every 4-5 years.

Because of our adaptation to using environmentally-friendly solvents (hydrocarbon base), our customer base has grown and expanded over the years because of this demand. By providing our delivery service for pick up and delivery, this also enables us to provide customers out of our neighbourhood (i.e. North York, Downtown Toronto, Etobicoke, Scarborough) with the convenience of having concierge service to make all customers feel assisted.   • First time trying this place (my reg place closed). Fred the owner was very friendly and helpful when I called to get a quote. Best price out of the several places I called. They also pick up and deliver. I had them pick up in the morning and picked it up myself in the afternoon since I wanted it that day (duvet cover), although they would have delivered the next morning. Very fast and a great job.

  • Excellent Service / Great Pricing - I have been using Stork Dry Cleaners for my duvets, covers, Shams, sheets and bed skirts for about 4 years. I also have 2 maltese who throw up on the duvet and stain the bedding. They have always been there for me, on time, and VERY ACCOMMODATING. I wouldn't go anywhere else for my dry cleaning.
